I threw my last dinner party in our tiny New York City apartment on Sunday because I needed help with clearing my fridge. It was so nice having my jschool friends over. This took me about an hour and half to get ready and was my absolute pleasure.
I love curry. Japanese style, Indian style, Malaysian style, Hong Kong style – whatever, because it’s so tasty.
For a while, I experimented with a lot of coconut products. This is a recipe I came across and is now my best impromptu dish that can be vegetarian friendly, meatarian friendly and even paleo friendly. It’s also SO simple and healthy.
I don’t always eat out, despite what these food reviews make it look like. In fact, cooking and having dinner parties is something I enjoy tremendously. During grad school, I had a “breakfast club” and threw weekend dinner parties. There’s something so wonderful about friends, wine, food and concentrated laughter.
